Accessibility: What you SEE is Only Half the Story
When does a great user experience turn into a negative user experience? When accessibility is not a key part of the design objective. In this presentation, John Mulé will demonstrate some of the accessibility challenges faced by persons with visual impairments. These will include examples of websites with accessibility problems and will be contrasted with similar websites which are fully accessible. He will also demonstrate examples of accessibility issues that creep into digital documents. As a totally blind person, John strongly encourages questions from the audience on any topic related to digital accessibility, accessibility testing and visual impairments in general.
